We’re thrilled to announce a new product in the Grokability family!
Introducing GoodForms, a better way to verify email addresses. GoodForms isn’t just syntax validation, it’s powerful armor against polluted mail server IP spaces that comes from fake/spammy or typo’d email address signups.
In it’s most simple form, it’s a drop-in line of javascript, but if you want additional customization, it comes with a powerful javascript API that let’s you control just about anything you can imagine.
It’s easy to use and dirt cheap – just $10/month for unlimited – yes, that’s right, unlimited – Verifications.
And if you want to take it a step further, you can Certify email addresses on the back-end using the powerful JSON API.
Certifying email addresses is important if you have concerns that users may be disabling JavaScript or spoofing your forms, or if your forms are being abused by bots (which often ignore JavaScript). The server-side Certification process compares the submitted checksum to our recorded checksum to confirm that the address has actually been validated.
Your first 5,000 Certifications per month are included in the $10 monthly fee, and only $0.001 per address for every additional address – and you only pay for “good” addresses.
So the obvious question here is – why GoodForms? There are tons of email address verification services out there, so why us?
Security and ethics – that’s the short answer. Most email verification services store millions (or billions) of email addresses that get checked, and all it takes us for one data breach for your entire customer list to be exposed. We never store your customer’s email addresses on the server. The Bad Guys can’t steal what we don’t store.
And we will NOT “wash” lists, which means it’s our conscious and deliberate choice to NOT facilitate list sellers and spammers.
We at Grokability try to walk the walk and talk the talk when it comes to ethics, from our software to the way we treat employees and customers. GoodForms is another way of demonstrating that, and we’re so very exited to launch it.
Come take a look and learn more at GoodForms.Com! We’re still working on additional implementation examples and would love your feedback on how to make it even better.
